Cromwell’s very own Fusee Rouge Cafe in The Mall has been shortlisted in the 2degrees Business Shop Local competition 2021.
The People’s Choice award winning small business will bring home a $20,000 marketing and advertising package that Fusee Rouge Cafe owner Nicoal Brockie will be pleased to share with the wider community in a bid to showcase Cromwell.
“We would love to be able to not only showcase the cafe, but really put a spotlight on Cromwell and the great little town we live in,” she says.
High Country Salmon in Canterbury, Prospector Fish and Chips from Kumara on the West Coast, Enolt, a LED light company from Southland, and Southern White Water from Canterbury are the other contenders in the race making Fusee Rouge the only small business to be nominated in the region.
To win the People’s Choice award Fusee Rouge is relying on the Cromwell community.
“It will come down to votes, we need Cromwell locals to help us out and vote.
“Hospitality has been hit hard during the last year and being nominated is heartwarming.
“Our aim is to get as many votes as we can and if we win we want to give back and to everyone who supports us by holding a locals coffee shout,” she adds.
The team at Fusee Rouge work tirelessly to ensure every cup of coffee is delivered the way their customers like it.
Their knack for knowing exactly what constitutes a great cup for each individual is a gift to coffee drinkers throughout the region and many of the cafe’s customers will be pleased to have the opportunity to vote knowing the hard work the team put in each and every day.
People’s Choice award voting closes this Friday April 2nd with the winner announced on Wednesday 7th April.
