Southern Lakes Architectural Coatings and How-Johns Painting commenced painting the house this week with paint supplied by Dulux.

They masked the windows and doors.

Sprayed the undercoat paint on the ceilings and walls.

They also stopped the architraves around the cupboards and wardrobes.

They finished painting the ceilings with the topcoat.

Flip and Cory were a bit camera shy, but Doreen Evans managed to get a few videos of them – under protest! Doreen said Cory and Flip have been amazing to work with, she has also enjoyed the banter they have thrown at her.

Cory and Flip are handing over the rest of the painting to Positive Painting and Abel Enterprises to complete.

Steve White Electrical cut out the lights and installed wiring for the irrigation system being donated by Irritech Otago Limited.

A team of Cromwell Rotarians and Lions members assisted Les Topping on a working bee where they moved a pile of dirt and compacted it.

They also boxed the footings for the stone wall, letter box and pad for the outside units for the heat pumps. Another team have been providing morning teas to all the workers.

A landscape meeting took place with Nichols Garden Centre who will design a landscape plan and supply plants, Weka Landscaping who will bring the plan to life, Landpro and SB Civil Limited who will complete the driveway.

Central Otago Campus Otago Polytechnic will construct the stone wall and letterbox this week with schist stone supplied by Wanaka Stone.

The Metal Effect will supply and install Corten Garden Screening around the tiled entertainment area.

The tiles are being supplied by Tile Warehouse.
