Vicky Topping has been a long term supporter of St John for over 20 years.
Les Topping project managed the build on Lot 47 on behalf of Cromwell Rotary and Lions Clubs.
He was instrumental in ensuring the build went smoothly resulting in a beautiful architecturally designed 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home on Lot 47 Prospector Park.
This home, built by the community, sold at auction for $1,205,000.00. An AMAZING $824,436.88 profit was made.
The “Topping Education Scholarship Fund” of $100,000.00 was established to acknowledge the work Vicky and Les have done for St John and Lot 47.
Applications are open to any person who intends to study any health-related course or study programme in a NZ tertiary institute in 2022.

Vicky and Doreen Evans are thrilled to announce that the first successful applicant, Lachie Crowle, a local lad, studying First Year Health Science at Otago University. Lachie wishes to complete a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery over the next 6 years. Lachie aspires to become an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in sports medicine. Lachie was granted $17,480 to pay for his hall of residence and college fees this year.
