Beanie Up

One New Zealander experiences a stroke every 45 minutes. The Stroke Foundation responded to over 5,500 stroke survivors in the last year.

“Beanie Up” helps support these survivors and their families. In 2020, “Beanie Up” helped raise over $250,000. The goal this year is to sell 15,500 beanies – raising $348,000!

This will enable the Stroke Foundation to enhance their current support services, employ extra Community Stroke Advisors, and significantly increase the number of hours of support they can offer, to meet a growing need.

The number of strokes is projected to increase by 40% in the next decade so every beanie sold will get the Stroke Foundation closer to their goal.

Beanies are available from the Cromwell Community House and come in 4 awesome styles. Prices are $10 or $20 and come in adult and kids’ sizes. Pop in and get your Beanie before stocks run out!
