Last week saw the last jobs finished to fully complete this home. A team of Cromwell Rotary and Lions Club members gave the Abodo cladding two further coats of paint.

The Abodo cladding arrives with the first coat of paint completed. How-John Painting completed the touch ups inside as well as staining the barn door.

AGM Stone delivered the stone tabletop for the outside table.

The table frame and seats were designed and built by the Menz Shed here in Cromwell.

Backyard Barrels Cromwell donated two chairs and a coffee table made out of wine barrels.

These items are a great additional to the outside entertainment area which is a major feature of this lovely home. The view of the hills will not be built out.

Council is due to undertake a final inspection of this home that the community has built as a fundraising project to assist St John with any shortfall in their new station build costs as well as other items St John may need.

The code compliance certificate should therefore be issued before the auction.

On Saturday and Sunday Edinburgh Realty held open homes to show case this beautiful architecturally designed, by Jessie Sutherland of S A Studio, 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home.

Mike Elford said that there are a lot of people looking through this home. Everyone could feel the love and community spirit that went into bringing this home to life.

Mike said there are a number of people who have expressed a keen interest in owning this home.

If you want a private viewing call Kate Elder at Edinburgh Realty on 027 223 0076. Also, this Saturday the home will be in the Rotary House & Garden Tour 2021 from 10am to 4pm.
