Santa Claus is coming to town – and you are invited! The Cromwell & Districts Promotion Group (CDPG) and Connect Cromwell have joined forces again to bring “A Very Central Christmas – with Highlands” to our extended Central Otago community.
This fun family event will start at 3:30 pm with a Santa Parade down Alpha St.
“We already have a few community groups and organisations lined up to participate in the parade, but we would like to hear from anyone else who might be interested in spreading the joy,” says Kelly Cruickshank-Giles, Community Relationships Manager of the CDPG.
The parade will end at Alpha Street Park where artists from all over Central Otago will perform some well-known Christmas tunes and other favourite sing-along songs.
“Bring a picnic blanket or some chairs and have a late afternoon picnic with us,” says Tania Partridge, Facilitator for Connect Cromwell.
“You can pack your own picnic or support the food trucks that are coming along.”
